I am relatively new to Flarum and I have read a lot of docs and searched the forum here, but I can't find answers to the most basic questions I would think many people would have regarding the software. I am reluctant to dive in and change the code (as I normally would) because I keep reading against doing so and the "code" keeps getting overwritten by something (Composer, etc.)

So my questions are pertaining to making tweaks to the site that will NOT be overwritten by some non-related action or extension. I am also not planning on creating development copy extensions. I am not opposed, but it is not my intension.

• How do I change some of the wording on my site? Normally this would done with language files (or similar), but I am not looking for an entirely differently language, just change some words. For example change the word "Start a Discussion" to "Create a new Post", or "Search Forum" to "Search Website"? These are examples and not necessarily what I want, but you get the point.
• What is the minimum and maximum length of a Username, and how can I change these if needed?
• I am guessing these next items are handle by extensions and not built in. Disallowed usernames, and Censored words. Correct?
• What is the default login session length? Maybe this is not handled by the Flarum software, but I am logged out (as admin) once a day...maybe more. It actually does not even gracefully log me out and send me to the login area. The only way I know is when I try and make a change, I get an error saying I don't have permission. It still looks like I am logged in, and only when I refresh the page, does it show I am logged out.
• This is kind of a big issue that I have run into on this site many times while trying to research things. When viewing large discussions ( greater than 20 or so replies). I often am looking for specific keywords in the thread. So I press the Ctrl +F on my keyboard. But all the replies are not actually loaded on the page so it often does not find what I am looking for. I understand not loading the entire page saves loading time (not complaining). My Question: Is there a search function that only searches the particular discussion I am viewing, and not the entire website? I am used to most forum's search options with "Search only this thread" (or similar).
  
  

Bonus question...Why do the emoji's (insert emoji) on this site (and when I had it activated on mine) only show a list that looks like the following:
A regional_indicator_a
B regional_indicator_b
C regional_indicator_c
D regional_indicator_d
E regional_indicator_e
F regional_indicator_f
G regional_indicator_g

No emojis are displayed, and when I select on one, it just places the corresponding letter on the page.
